Footprint is the sand is 19” long x 13” wide and hangs from a cord at the top of the piece. The center piece of linen is hand stitched to the burlap background. The center design is a rusted piece of linen. Small stitches enhance the path that ancient cultures must have traveled in the Sonoran Desert. Symbols of sun and water tell the traveler’s story. Bamboo slate enhance the piece and hand-made cord with a feather embellishes the piece. Completed in Fall 2023.
